Things to do during your stay

Coarse fishing

For our guests who enjoy coarse fishing, we have a stream fed lake stocked with Bream, Rudd, Tench, Roach and Crucian Carp, available free of charge. The lake is situated in an attractive location landscaped with trees, shrubs and wild flowers and is within a short walking distance from the Granary Barn. Non-angling guests can also enjoy a stroll along the grassy track around the lake or sit and relax whilst watching the fishing in progress and catch a glimpse of the birds and wildlife, which visit the lake. There is a match day each Wednesday. Fishing is by arrangement.
